GREENSLEEVES DUAL PURPOSE (EATING & COOKING) APPLE TREE-Malus domestica GREENSLEEVES

This popular garden variety of Apple tree, Greensleeves came to fruition in 1966 in Kent and was awarded the RHS Award of Merit in 1981. The round slightly conical fruit is medium in size with a light green skin which ripens to a vivid yellow, the flesh is creamy white with a refreshing crisp juicy flavour especially eaten if straight from the tree. Greensleeves produces a particularly versatile fruit as they are suitable for making cider and for juicing . The Apple trees are a good garden variety that not only produce tasty fruit they have an attractive blossom which is pleasing to the eye. The fruits are ready for picking during the months of September-November.

We supply Greensleeves as one year old (maiden)-link to plant size guide, bare rooted Apple trees grafted onto an MM106 rootstock. This will make an upright spreading with an ultimate height approximately 10-12ft. Greensleeves is a heavy cropping Apple tree which is scab resistant and hardy against late frosts.
