RED DEVIL , EATING (DESSERT) APPLE TREE-Malus domestica RED DEVIL



The Red Devil Apple tree is a wonderful decorative tree with stunning pink blossom and a slender habit this Apple tree was raised in 1975 by H.F. Ermen in Faversham, Kent by crossing the ‘Discovery’-(link) with the Kent. The fruits of this Apple tree have a glorious deep red skin which colours the sweet crisp flesh underneath and gives a strawberry flavour to the taste. The pink colour and succulence of the Red Devil apple means it is an excellent variety for juicing. The Red Devil is a reliable cropper which is ready to pick in September.

We supply Red Devil as one year old (maiden)-link to plant size guide bare rooted Apple trees grafted onto an MM106 rootstock with an ultimate height of approximately 10-12ft. This is a good scab and mildew resistant variety making it suitable for growing in all parts of the country.
