MORELLO CHERRY TREE (DESSERT)-Prunus cerasus MORELLO

A smaller growing Cherry tree the Morello produces heavy crops of large dark red fruits which at this stage of colouring are quite sour to taste and therefore should be cooked before eating however if the Morello is left until the fruits darken to an almost black colour they are then suitable and sweet tasting enough to eat straight from the tree. The Morello Cherry tree has been given the RHS Garden of Merit Award. The Morello is an excellent reliable variety best grown against a north facing wall.

POLLINATION: Morello is a self fertile Cherry tree and can therefore be planted on its own.

We supply Morello as a one year old (maiden)-link to plant size guide bare rooted Cherry trees grafted onto Colt semi-dwarfing rootstock which will make a tree with an ultimate height of 12-15ft.

We recommend using Bone Meal and Rootgrow to give your new Cherry tree a good start, these can be found on the left hand menu.Order any mix or combination of fruit trees in same size to qualify for multibuy discounts.
