SUMMER SUN CHERRY TREE (DESSERT)-Prunus avium SUMMER SUN
A particularly hardy variety the Summer Sun cherry tree can be grown in less favourable conditions and as it has a good frost tolerance it will grow in most northern areas. The white blossoms of the Summer Sun which appear in spring are followed in July by fruits which are juicy and dark red in colour with a superb flavour and along with their compact growth this makes the Summer Sun cherry tree a firm favourite for the garden. The Summer Sun has been given the RHS Garden of Merit Award.
POLLINATION: Summer Sun is a self fertile Cherry tree and can therefore be planted on its own.
