The blue- purple fruit of the Marjories Seedling Plum tree is a superb variety for use in cooking or making jams as the large juicy plums if picked ealy in September can give a lovely sharp flavour. If left until fully ripe the greenish yellow flesh of the Marjories Seedling plum can be eaten straight from the tree as the flavour deepens and becomes sweeter the more ripe they become. As the Marjories Seedling is a late heavy cropper this Plum tree can be planted in colder areas and is a particularly suitable Plum tree for growing in the garden or small orchard. The Marjories Seedling has been given the RHS Garden of Merit Award.

POLLINATION: The Marjories Seedling tree is self fertile and therefore needs no others pollinators.
