Vines are very adaptable to a range of soil types, those planted outdoors are best in a sunny warm situation to aid ripening. Indoor varieties may be grown in a cold greenhouse or conservatory. They should be hard pruned in winter as fruits are produced on the new growth.

Muscat Alexandria This is a delicious dessert grape white in colour and succulent to taste. Can be grown outdoors but needs plenty of sun. Needs hard pruning in winter.
