BLACKBERRIES: Large fruiting varieties whcih are self fertile
BLUEBERRIES: Becoming very popular in the UK since being acknowledged as a Superfood. Lime free soil is required, if this is not possible they can be grown in containers. Two varieties should be planted to improve pollination. Plant 5 feet apart.
BLACKCURRANTS: Plant 4-5ft apart. Prune out old wood after picking. Fruits are ready July-August.
REDCURRANTS: Plant 4-5ft apart. Fruits are ready July-August.
WHITECURRANTS: Plant 4-5ft apart.
GOOSEBERRIES: Self fertile. Plant 4ft apart. Fruits are produced from June-July.
GRAPEVINES: Self fertile. We have a good selection suitable for a variety of uses. Vines are very adaptable to a range of soil types, those planted outdoors are best in a sunny warm situation to aid ripening. Indoor varieties may be grown in a cold greenhouse or conservatory. They should be hard pruned in winter as fruits are produced on the new growth.
JOSTABERRY: (Blackcurrant x Gooseberry) Self fertile. Plant 4-5ft apart.
LOGANBERRY: Self fertile. Plant 8-10ft. Strong pot grown plants in 2 litre pots.
RASPBERRY: Self fertile. Very popular with a multitude of uses. Plant 18 inches apart but never in waterlogged soil, they must have good drainage. All our canes (plants) are from ministry inspected, virus free stock, and sold in packs of 10 packed in moist peat.
TAYBERRY: (Blackberry x Raspberry) Self fertile. Plant 8ft apart. Strong pot grown plants in 2 litre pots.

This is a mid season heavy cropping variety of blackberry whose long black glossy fruits give a wonderful flavour to any dish. Although the canes are thorny this is not a problem when it comes to managing the plant which is also disease resistant.

This variety of blackberry is a later season one suitable for smaller gardens as it has compact growth and is thornless for easy management.The large saucer shaped white flowers which are tinged with pink adding colour to the garden are followed by a plentiful crop of large glossy fruits with an excellent flavour.

Commonly regarded now as a superfood this heavy cropping variety of blueberry generally harvested in mid August has an excellent flavour.The foliage also provides good autumn colours on a plant which is generally resistant to spring frosts and drought.Blueberries should be grown either in lime free soil or in a container of the same and there needs to be two varieties for pollination.
