These aromatic low growing perennials will grow into a dense weed suppressing carpet in a sunny well drained situation. A good plant for chalky soils. The tiny heads of flowers are produced en masse in summer. Can be grown as a thyme ' lawn' as the plants will tolerate being walked on so releasing more of their scent. White flowers with cream and green variegated leves. Plant 12-18 inches apart.
