These aromatic low growing perennials will grow into a dense weed suppressing carpet in a sunny well drained situation. A good plant for chalky soils. The tiny heads of flowers are produced en masse in summer. Can be grown as a thyme 'lawn' as the plants will tolerate being walked on releasing more of their scent. Bright green foliage with masses of white flowers from July to August.Plant 12-18 inches apart.
