A very attractive hedging plant with golden yellow or pale green leaves with golden margins it is usually evergreen but occasionally can lose leaves in winter. To create a dense effect it is a plant that responds well to pruning. The creamy white flowers which appear in July give added attraction for wildlife.
Large evergreen shrub, like green privet but with rich gold markings on the foliage. Marginally slower growing than green privet. Suitable for hedges 3-10ft. Plant as for Green Privet 12-18 inches apart for a single row or for a really thick hedge plant a staggered double row 18 inches between the plants and 15 inches between the rows.
