Quickthorn makes a superb native stock proof or security hedging plant with its thorny growth and adaptability to most sites, having said that it provides a multitude of white blossoms in spring which are followed by a mass of scarlet red berries in autumn for wildlife interest.
Large deciduous native shrub or small tree, has vigorous thorny growth and is tolerant of any soil or situation. A profusion of white flowers in spring is followed by scarlet red berries in autumn.
