Topiary
BOX TOPIARY (Buxus Sempervirens): Slow growing evergreen shrub ideal for Topiary. Dark green in colour. Topiary specimens are best trimmed in early summer and again if necessary but no later than September. Container grown plants will require regular watering and an annual top dressing of Osmacote or Seaweed fertiliser to maintain the dark green colour.
YEW ENGLISH TOPIARY (Taxus Baccata): The aristocratic English Yew makes an excellent topiary specimen on account of its dense bushy growth. May be grown in any well drained soil or in large containers in which case they will require regular watering and an annual top dressing of a slow release fertiliser in the Spring. Trim as required to maintain shape during the summer months.
