Delivery Charges, Information, Guarantee
We only deliver to UK (including Channel Islands) and Ireland (Note: for delivery to Ireland please phone 01580 765600)
Despatch is usually within 7-10 days on a next day service, which covers most of the country
(delivery may occasionally take 2-3 days in certain circumstances). We will always willingly accommodate requests for delivery on a specific day,
but please try to give as much notice as possible. If you are organising help with planting it is worth knowing
that our carriers may deliver as late as 7.00pm, for this reason we always advise taking delivery 1-2 days before you intend to plant.
We aim to despatch all orders as quickly as possible, there may however be a delay of several weeks during the busy Autumn season as all lifting and despatching of field grown stock is dependant on the great British weather!! Pre ordering is strongly recommended if you require a November delivery.
STANDARD DELIVERY CHARGE £7.95
With the exception of SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS & ISLANDS, SCOTTISH RURAL, IRELAND, ISLE OF MAN, ISLE OF WIGHT AND CHANNEL ISLANDS, (quotes available ) and covers all plants in the catalogue with a parcel symbol with the exception of those marked with (Pallet Symbols) and Larger Trees .
PALLET DELIVERY CHARGE – BASED ON POST CODES
The larger products marked with (pallet symbols) are delivered on pallets usually on a 2-3 day service, although for a small increase in price a next day service is also available. Typical costs are between £49.00 and £145.00, please contact the office for an exact price. Exceptions apply to outlying areas as listed above. Quotations always available.

DAMAGES AND NON DELIVERY
While all due care and attention is taken to ensure your plants are delivered on time and in good condition, accidents occasionally happen. We recommend plants are unpacked and checked as soon as possible after delivery and we are notified of any damages or shortages within 3 working days.
We realise unforeseen circumstances may sometimes give need for orders to be cancelled, on such occasions we do regretfully have to apply a 10% handling charge to cover our administration costs. There is no charge for orders cancelled within one week of being placed.
PREPARING FOR THE ARRIVAL OF YOUR PLANTS
Our carriers will deliver your plants on a weekday when you may not be able to plant immediately or the ground may be frozen. If you have ordered bare rooted plants prepare a small area of ground in a sheltered spot before they are delivered so that they can be unpacked and heeled in quickly. The roots should be soaked in water for up to one hour if they are dry. Pot grown and Rootballed plants should be unpacked and stood in a sheltered area before planting and watered well if they appear dry.
