Our half price potted native hedging deal is by far the cheapest way to buy top quality mixed garden hedging in pots that can be planted at any time of year. These packs are half the usual price of our nearest equivalent product –  pot grown mixed hedging but you still get the same great plants that you would expect from Hopes Grove Nurseries.

All of the species in the mix will be supplied in 2 litre pots at a height (above the compost) of 60/100cm

Each pack contains 100 pot grown plants : a 70% mix of Hawthorn (Quickthorn, Crataegus monogyna), and Blackthorn (Prunus spinosa) that will ensure the new hedge knits together effectively.

and 30% in a mix of species that will include up to 10 of the following in any combination – Wild Crabapple, Common, Hazel, Field Maple, Dog Rose, Spindle, Wild Privet, Guelder Rose, Rugosa Roses, Sweet Briar Rose, Elder, Wild Pear, Amelanchier, Myrobalan Plum and Hornbeam, we may include other species of hedging if they are available on the day of despatch.
Our packs are ideal for general hedge planting and will grow into an effective barrier within a few seasons, and faster than bare root plants of the same size as these potted plants have the benefit of no root disturbance and super-fast establishment.. They will also provide a great habitat for all kinds of wildlife including birds. We would recommend planting at a density of 3-7 per metre depending on your budget and how patient you are for them to grow.

These packs have a discount of 50% compared to buying our pot grown mixed hedging in the same size.
