A Mostly Native Bargain Pallet Bargain Packs
As crops of plants come and go on the nursery, we inevitably get a few bits and pieces left over from all the various batches that we grow and sell. Over time we have accumulated some stock that is difficult to sell on the website. Not because there is anything wrong with them, just that there is not enough of any one species or size to justify listing them.
I think they all deserve a new forever home, so I have decided to offer them as a bargain pallet deal of 28 plants. These plants are scattered in dribs and drabs to the four corners of our 30 acre Tenterden site, it would take me (I’m Morris, MD of Hopes Grove by the way) ages to type up picking notes for someone else to do it, so instead I will pick these plants for you personally!
They come in different shapes and sizes, some are left from last year so you might need to wrestle the pot away from the roots on one or two of the plants you recieve. Most are first grade, some a little less beautiful but still very much viable and a good size. I will include at least 8 different species (more if I can, all could be in varying proportions), and I will put in a 1KG pack of Rootgrow free of charge – enough to give them all a great start.
What do you get? 28 plants in total. 16 plants in 7.5 litre pots @ 150/200cm tall and a further 12 plants in 4 litre pots @ 100/150cm tall plus a 1KG pack of Rootgrow.
What species are they? I have these to choose from: Silver Birch, Hornbeam, Hawthorn, Blackthorn, Spindle, Hazel, Rowan, Amelanchier, Wild Privet, Guelder Rose, Beech and possibly few others. All of them will be deciduous, they are mostly native trees and shrubs.
Will the different plants be labelled? Many will have a label but some wont, it is a bit of a lucky dip!
What could they be used for? In no particular order….creating a wildlife garden, making an informal native screen, softening the edge of a building, reducing the noise of a nearby road, planting round a pond or just dotting them around your plot because you like trees!
How much would they normally cost? Its hard to be precise with all the different species but I estimate no less than £520+VAT (£545 if you include the rootgrow)
I have 20 of these bargain pallets to clear at £299 (+VAT) each with delivery included in area 1 on our delivery map (usually an additional £50 plus VAT for orders under £400). You can of course add some other plants to the same order without incurring any delivery charges.
