For a very modest investment you could secure your own supply of delicious fruit for many years to come, and in a range of more discerning ‘gourmet’ varieties you are unlikely to find in any supermarket! Our pack of five bare root trees is supplied to you at just half their usual price compared to buying them individually. These are exactly the same top quality trees that may be found in our Fruit Section, buying in bulk has enabled us to make considerable savings and pass on this amazing offer – when they are gone, they are gone!
The varieties in our pack have been chosen to provide a versatile bounty of fruits suitable for cooking and eating straight from the tree. Many fruit trees need a partner variety to achieve a good pollination, all of the varieties here are either self fertile or pollination partners meaning all you need to do is plant them in the same area, and let nature take its course.
Maiden Fruit Trees are supplied as bare root plants, delivered in their natural period of dormancy from November-April. Maiden Fruit Trees are typically 100-125cm in height (this varies between varieties, they are all slightly different) when supplied and should produce their first crop within just a couple of seasons from planting.

Your five tree Apple collection will consist of one each of the following (all trees will be labelled):
Kordia Cherry Tree: An exceptional sweet black cherry producing heavy crops of juicy well flavoured fruits.
Morello Cherry Tree: The popular ‘sour’ cherry – bright red fruits are ideal for jams, puddings and especially open topped cherry pies!
Katinka Plum Tree: A superb early season blue plum with exceptional eating qualities, reliable heavy cropping variety.
Old Greengage Plum Tree: A classic and fairly uncommon green skinned plum with unrivalled flavour whether eaten direct from the tree or used for jams, pies and desserts.
Vranja Quince Tree: large sweet pear-shaped fruits mature into a golden colour in October following on from the attractive pink blossom in spring, ideal for jellies and preserves.
(In exceptional circumstances, should any of the varieties above become out of stock we will substitute with a similar variety of equal or greater value)
All our fruit trees are supplied on variety-appropriate semi dwarfing rootstocks and will grow to approx 3-5 metres, we would recommend planting them 4-6 metres apart.
Fruiting Apple trees are easy to grow in most soils that do not become waterlogged, young trees will establish and develop more quickly if a small circle around the base 50-100cm across is kept completely clear of weeds, ideally with a mulch of bark chippings or similar to conserve moisture. We also recommend adding rootgrow when planting for faster root establishment.
