Hypericum Miracle Night
One of a fantastic new ‘Miracle’ range of compact Hypericum, these plants have a strong constitution and are disease resistant. They carry a steady succession of beautifully intricate yellow flowers from June onwards right into Autumn, set against deep purple tinted green foliage. The flower are followed by colourful and persistent berries that begin to colour up in August and give interest well into Winter. Perfect for late season cheer to brighten the garden, and the stems of berries are a must for flower arrangers!
Hypericum Miracle Night has bright yellow flowers followed by colourful deep maroon berries. These plants are very popular with pollinating insects and will certainly encourage wildlife into the garden.
Hypericum Miracle Night are very easy to grow, they do well in conditions of full sun right through to moderate shade and tolerate all soil types. These shrubs are great for Autumn and Winter containers, towards the front of beds as colourful space fillers and just perfect for more difficult areas such as banks and around larger trees that would benefit from low maintenance ground cover. As with our other Hypericums here, they would also be great as a low mounded informal flowering hedge up to 100cm high. Very low maintenance, just a tidy up or trim in early Spring with secateurs, shears or hedgtrimmer.
