Campsis (Trumpet Vine)

Vigorous woody deciduous climbers with handsome large leaves composed of smaller pointed oval leaflets. Campsis are grown for their bold and very showy trumpet shaped flowers, produced in clusters from mid-summer to mid-autumn. These plants require the support of a fence, wall, pergola or similar, once established they are self-clinging. A sheltered sunny spot is ideal, especially in cold areas. Grow Campsis in any reasonable well drained soil where they will delight with their richly coloured flowers becoming more and more prolific as they become established.
