Box (Buxus) is an endlessly versatile evergreen hedging plant, with a dense habit of growth and  small evergreen leaves that will accommodate trimming into any shape or design. Perfect for all low hedges, edgings and topiary.

Common Box (Buxus sempervirens) is the popular variety often seen in formal gardens and used for topiary, perfect for all hedges small or large(if you are patient!). Dwarf Box (Buxus sempervirens 'Suffruticosa') is ideal for very low hedges up to about 60cm(2ft) and Variegated Box (Buxus sempervirens 'Elegantissima') is of a similar size but has an attractive creamy white margin to the tiny evergreen leaves. Last but by no means least, Box Faulkner (Buxus sempervirens 'Faulkner') is a great garden performer and a firm favourite here at the nursery. The emerald green foliage always looks healthy and fresh on a plant that grows at a similar rate to Common Box (Buxus sempervirensto which it makes a great alternative.
