Flowering continuously from late spring through to autumn, the delicate blooms appear in such abundance that they often almost obscure the foliage beneath. The flowers are highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects, making it an excellent choice for wildlife-friendly gardens.
Erigeron karvinskianus is wonderfully versatile and brings a relaxed, natural feel to a wide range of garden settings. Its gently spreading habit makes it ideal for softening the edges of pathways, filling gaps in walls and paving, tumbling over raised beds, or weaving through gravel gardens and cottage-style borders. The clouds of white and pink flowers combine beautifully with Roses, Lavender, Salvias and Ornamental Grasses, adding movement and colour throughout the growing season.
Easy to grow and remarkably resilient, Erigeron karvinskianus thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. Once established, it is drought tolerant and often self-seeds into cracks and crevices, creating naturalistic displays with very little intervention. It performs particularly well in poor soils and exposed positions where many other flowering plants struggle, making it a valuable low-maintenance addition to the garden.
