Rudbeckia ‘Goldsturm’ is perfect for adding warmth, structure and long-lasting interest to mixed borders, prairie-style plantings and cottage garden schemes. Its bright golden flowers combine beautifully with ornamental grasses, asters, echinaceas and salvias, creating striking late-season combinations that continue to shine well into autumn. The seed heads also provide additional interest after flowering and can be left standing to add texture to the winter garden.

Easy to grow and exceptionally reliable, Rudbeckia ‘Goldsturm’ thrives in fertile, moisture-retentive but well-drained soil in full sun. Once established, it is tolerant of short periods of drought and will return year after year with increasing impact. Its strong stems rarely require staking, making it an excellent choice for low-maintenance planting schemes.

Rudbeckia Fulgida X Sullivantii Goldsturm

Rudbeckia fulgida var. sullivantii ‘Goldsturm’

Rudbeckia ‘Goldsturm’ is one of the most popular late-summer perennials. This award-winning variety produces masses of vibrant golden-yellow daisy-like flowers, each centred with a distinctive dark brown cone, creating a bold and cheerful display from midsummer well into autumn. The long-lasting blooms are borne on sturdy upright stems above clumps of deep green foliage, providing weeks of colour when many other perennials are beginning to fade. Rich in nectar and pollen, the flowers are highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other beneficial insects.
