Large flowered Rhododendrons are unsurpassed for the beauty of their large flower trusses and are are equally at home in the dappled shade of woodland plantings or in full sun. Ideal as specimens or in massed plantings if you are lucky enough to have space – or even as an informal hedge.
They need acid soil to thrive (Rhododendrons growing locally would be a good sign if you are uncertain about your soil) otherwise they are great to grow in pots of ericaceous compost.
In most situations these Hybrid Rhododendrons will grow to 180cm x 180cm as a rough guide.
