Rosemary (Rosmarinus Officinalis) is an incredibly popular plant choice for gardens across the country, thanks to its pretty aesthetic and culinary uses.

Native to the Mediterranean, Rosemary is a plant that is easy to maintain and offers a host of benefits to a garden setting – including being a deterrent for carrot fly. It is relatively easy to grow and prefers a sunnier setting, with well drained soil. It does not like to be over watered, and only requires a trim around once a year to keep it in tip top condition. Not only does Rosemary make a tasty addition to many kitchen gardens, the plant also boasts a flurry of tiny flowers during the warmer months, making an attractive display as part of a hedging arrangement. When the plant is in a favourable, warm position these flowers can appear as early as February.

Typically Rosemary plants suit hedging displays of between 2 – 4ft, and are best planted around 12-18in apart. We make sure that our Rosemary hedging plants are well looked after during their time at our dedicated 35,000 square foot nursery in the heart of Kent, so that you can feel comfortable in the knowledge that they are going to arrive with you in the best possible condition.
