Kolkwitzia amabilis Pink Cloud benefits from a mulch in early spring to conserve moisture and deter weeds. After flowering prune out up to one third of the old stems to avoid the bush becoming too congested and ensure a steady supply of young healthy stems that will bear flowers in future years.
