This bushy deciduous shrub erupts with masses of finely divided and very colourful fresh new foliage each Spring, bright pink and bronze flushed at first before turning to golden hues and then dark green. By mid summer the bush is topped with large panicles packed with tiny white flowers, later in the season the foliage turns to hues of red and orange before they fall giving a very long season of interest.
Sorbaria Sem would make an interesting container specimen and a valuable addition to the mixed border, the delicate and coloured foliage would also fit well with Japanese or Jungle themes.1.5m x 1.5m.
