Golden Yew Ball Shape Topiary Balls
Requiring a steady hand and a sharp pair of shears the English Yew Topiary Ball shapes also need a good eye for symmetry as they require trimming each year to sharpen the edges of the plant from the fronds of new growth, and of course where several Ball Shapes are included in the planting extra care needs to be taken to keep them all at the same diameter.
These beautiful, ready shaped and trimmed specimens are just the thing for immediate effect. Taxus baccata Golden Carol is a bushy, lower growing variety of the English Yew that also has the benefit of eye catching golden foliage. They will certainly bring some valuable year round structure and colour to your plot with their evergreen foliage. They would also look fantastic in large containers.
Like all yews, these Golden Yew balls require well drained soil that does not waterlog in winter. Otherwise they are an undemanding species that will grow perfectly well in sun or shade – although the best golden foliage colour will always be achieved in full sun.
Delivery is free for most orders above our free delivery thresholds, these are displayed above our prices in the product listings and summarized below. If you don’t need that many plants it’s not a problem, you can choose to pay our delivery charge and only order what you need.

Exceptions to our delivery charges are Scottish Highland and Isle of Wight delivery areas where we need to charge a little extra to cover the cost of deliveries to these outlying areas. We don’t currently delivery to other offshore addresses including Northern Ireland and Southern Ireland.
Tall plants over 2.5 metres have to be delivered by our own specialised transport, our delivery area is limited to mainland England and Wales only.
Please note there is a minimum order value of £50 for orders containing smaller plants and £250 for orders containing heavier plants
