Coxs Orange Pippin Apple Trees

Cox’s Orange Pippin Apple Trees  (Eating) Greenish yellow fruits flushed with orange; deep cream flesh has a deliciously sweet aromatic flavour. Pick in October.

Often referred to just as Cox and considered by many to be the finest dessert apple. The tree is deciduous with a bushy habit and hardy to the whole of the UK.  With bright green foliage from Spring through Autumn and an abundance of pretty pink flowers in Spring.

Coxs Orange Pippin Apple Trees. A traditional apple tree variety producing a crop of fruit from October to January, with an aromatic flavour and attractive orange/red colouring and creamy flesh.  Apple Cox’s are delicious, crisp and juicy and can be enjoyed as they are or sliced up in salads, they are also perfect for lunchboxes!

Cox’s will thrive in moist well drained soil enjoying full sun and a sheltered position.  Our trees are grafted onto a semi dwarfing MM106 rootstock and will achieve an ultimate height and spread of approx 4 metres.

Cox’s Orange Pippin Apple Trees are in pollination group 3 and many of our other Apple varieties such as Discovery, Bramley, Gala, Golden Delicious and James Grieve are good pollinators.
