Carex Milk Chocolate Grasses
Carex Milk Chocolate (Sedge)
Carex Milk Chocolate grasses are smashing dwarf evergreen grasses with glossy arching leaves that have yellow and red tints when new, ageing to brown and becoming coppery tinted in the Autumn. Small delicate white flowers appear in Summer, but really it is all about the elegant bronze swaying foliage. A perfect addition to a border, adding year-round texture and movement.
Carex Milk Chocolate grasses make a great, low maintenance addition to a garden and are incredibly versatile as they are happy in full sun through to shade. Perfect for architectural planting schemes, beds and borders, or ‘difficult’ areas such as steep banks. They can look stunning as a focal point planted with other grasses or mix with Achillea and Crocosmia for splashes of delightful contrasting colour.
