It is difficult to overstate what a useful grass this is, the evergreen strap like foliage is very eye catching – deep green with a crisp silvery white edging. Small, insignificant white flower spikes appear in late Spring. This is a very tough grass that looks great all year round, ideal for ground cover in sun or partial shade where they make a lovely contrast with other colours, or as a large swathe on its own. This is also a great container or front of border plant.
Grows in well drained and also more moisture retaining soils, sun or partial shade. These plants are easy to grow and will steadily form low ground covering clumps.
