Carex Oshimensis Evergold (Golden Sedge)
This very ornamental little evergreen grass has dark green foliage with a colourful central strip of creamy yellow along the length of its narrow leaves. Small brown flower spikes emerge from the low clumps of foliage in late Spring.
This is a useful little grass for bringing interest to the front of beds and borders, cheering up partially shaded darker corners, and also make a super container plant with all year interest. They combine well with other grasses of different colours and also look very much at home mixed into rockeries or for softening the edge of paved areas.
Grow them in sun or partial shade, any fertile well drained soil.
