Lavender ‘Dwarf Blue’ is a naturally bushy and compact variety that would be great for edging a path or growing in containers. Like all Lavenders ‘Dwarf Blue’ is best planted in full sun and being of Mediterranean origin they prefer well drained soil.
Lavandula angustifolia ‘Dwarf Blue’ flowers on the new wood so it is essential to prune these annually to help improve the lavender when flowering, as well as helping to prolong its life. Ideally give the plants a trim as the colour fades from the flowers in late summer, this will keep the evergreen foliage neat and tidy and guarantee a good show of flower the following year. Failing that they can be trimmed in late spring after the danger of frost has passed.
For a Lavender hedge we recommend planting 3-5 plants per metre or try them in small groups in a sunny border for flowers and a fragrance that will fill your garden during those long warm summer days. For best effect plant them close to a path or seating area where the relaxing fragrance can be best enjoyed, especially when the plants are brushed against as this releases the scent.

Exceptions to our delivery charges are Scottish Highland and Isle of Wight delivery areas where we need to charge a little extra to cover the cost of deliveries to these outlying areas. We don’t currently delivery to other offshore addresses including Northern Ireland and Southern Ireland.
Tall plants over 2.5 metres have to be delivered by our own specialised transport, our delivery area is limited to mainland England and Wales only.
Please note there is a minimum order value of £50 for orders containing smaller plants and £250 for orders containing heavier plants
