Lonicera Lemon Beauty Hedging

Lonicera nitida Lemon Beauty (Shrubby Honeysuckle)

A colourful variation of this popular hedging shrub, Lonicera nitida Lemon Beauty has very small glossy evergreen leaves with bright lemon-yellow margins. Older, untrimmed plants will produce the characteristic creamy white Honeysuckle like flowers in late Spring followed by shiny purple berries later in the season that often persist into Autumn.

These shrubs respond very well to clipping making Lonicera Lemon Beauty an ideal low hedge or edging where its colourful evergreen foliage will add all year interest and structure to your garden. Use as versatile ground cover that will need very little maintenance once established. With such tiny leaves they also make ideal topiary plants and their glossy colourful foliage will cheer any dark corner.

This is a tough little shrub, they grow well in sun or partial shade and any well drained soil is suitable.
