Agastache Blackadder Ground Cover
Agastache Blackadder (Giant Hyssop, Korean Mint)
Gorgeous smokey violet flower spires from June right through until October, held above aromatic fresh green leaves. Not only is this plant a brilliant addition to the herbaceous border, its a great wildlife plant, the flowers are adored by bees and butterflies and later on the seedheads will provide a welcome feast for the birds. Looks great with Ornamental grasses, or in a mediterranean themed garden.
As a rough guide planting Agastache Blackadder as ground cover – 4 plants per square metre is adequate with a little patience, 6 will give better coverage and 9-12 will make a weed supressing carpet very quickly.
