Anthemis Kelwayi Ground Cover
Anthemis tinctoria Kelwayi (Dyers Chamomile)
A succession of bright yellow daisy like flowers over a long summer season, held above deep green filgree foliage. A good wildlife plant that is particularly popular with bees and butterfies. Just the plant to bring long lasting colour to the front of a sunny border, herb garden or rockery. Any well drained soil, Anthemis do well in poorer soils where the growth will be more compact.
As a rough guide planting Anthemis Kelwayi as ground cover – 4 plants per square metre is adequate with a little patience, 6 will give better coverage and 9-12 will make a weed supressing carpet very quickly.
