How to grow Astilbe Weisse Gloria
Position: Full sun, partial shade.
Foliage: Semi evergeen Herbaceous perennial, foliage dies down in late Autumn, fresh new foliage emerges in Spring.
Soil and site: Moist soil, poorly drained, bog gardens, next to ponds.
Flowering time: June-August
Growth rate: Moderate/fast
Ultimate height and spread: up to 60cm x 50cm
Hardiness: Fully Hardy
Aftercare: Water regularly after planting and through the first season until established. Cut down to ground level in late Autumn. Astilbe like moist soil so a generous mulch in early Spring will produce more vigorous growth, especially on lighter soils.
