Brunnera nacrophylla Hadspen Cream (Siberian bugloss)
A magnificent form having the benefit of eyecatching cream and bright green variegated heart shaped foliage, a perfect foil for the delicate bright blue flower clusters that emerge in April and May. Great for combining with early season plants such as bulbs and hellebores, underplant larger trees and shrubs with this shade loving perennial, or team them with later flowering herbaceous favourites such as Hardy Gernaiums for a long season display. 50cm x 50cm.

Grow Brunnera macrophylla Hadspen Cream in any well drained soil ideally with plenty of humus (so add some leaf mould or other soil conditioner when planting, well mixed with the surrounding soil), they like partial shade making them ideal for underplanting. Once established they require little maintenance, cut the old foliage down in Autumn and apply a mulch to make the best of next Springs display.
Lift and divide every few years to stop the colony from getting congested, and make even more of these delightful plants!
