Erigeron Sea Breeze Ground Cover
Erigeron Sea Breeze (Fleabane)
From the daisy family, Erigeron Sea Breeze (Fleabane) ground cover is a mound forming evergreen perennial plant that is very free flowering. With thick, often waxy or hairy, oval to spoon-shaped, grey-green leaves, followed throughout Summer and into Autumn by delightful semi-double, daisy-like, lilac-pink flowers with yellow centres. Super easy to grow.
Hugely popular due to their long flowering period from May to October, they are amazingly versatile, performing best in full sun, they will also be quite happy in partial shade, and will thrive in any well-drained soil. Great at the front of beds and borders or as edging along paths, in a gravel garden, spilling over walls, or planted in the cracks in paving. Bushy, clump forming and very easy to grow, the daisy-like flowers of Erigeron Sea Breeze ground cover will quickly develop into a weed supressing mat filled with masses of flowers. Bees and butterflies love them, so they also make a wonderful addition to a wildlife garden.
