Ivy Little Diamond (Hedera Helix Little Diamond) ground cover is a compact, slow growing, evergreen, self-clinging climber with attractive, ovate, diamond-shaped grey-green leaves margined with creamy-white.
Ivy Little Diamond is useful for covering unsightly walls or fences, or as ground cover in woodland areas, also for adding interest in shaded areas where many other plants will not survive. One of the key benefits of this super little Ivy is the fact it is slower growing and less aggressive than many of the other varieties of Ivy (Hedera), and therefore ideal for hanging baskets and rockeries where it will gently trail and give you year-round interest. You could plant Ivy Little Diamond with Hosta’s or Vinca for added interest.

Wonderfully versatile, Hedera Little Diamond ground cover will be happiest in partial shade or full shade but will tolerate sun. It is remarkably easy to grow, is fully hardy and happy in pretty much any soil and in any degree of sun or shade. Simply cut back any excess unwanted growth in Spring (it is advisable to wear gloves when doing so as Ivy can be an irritant to skin).
