Ivy Miniature Needlepoint Ground Cover
Ivy Miniature Needlepoint (Hedera helix Miniature Needlepoint)
Ivy Miniature Needlepoint (Hedera) ground cover is a delightful compact, evergreen, self-clinging climber with attractive dark green leaves with three to five sharply pointed lobes, that are small and set closely together
Ivy Miniature Needlepoint is highly ornamental and perfect for hanging baskets and trailing attractively over walls and through rockeries, even to be trained over a frame as unusual topiary! It is also useful for the more ‘classic’ Ivy purposes such as covering unsightly lower walls or fences, or as ground cover in woodland areas, also for adding interest in shaded areas where many other plants will not survive.

Wonderfully versatile, Hedera Miniature Needlepoint will be happiest in partial shade or full shade but will tolerate sun. It is remarkably easy to grow, is fully hardy and happy in pretty much any soil and in any degree of sun or shade. Protect from cold, drying winds. Simply cut back any excess unwanted growth in Spring (it is advisable to wear gloves when doing so as Ivy can be an irritant to skin).
