Hydrangea Skyfall is easy to grow in sun or partial shade, they prefer a rich moisture retaining soil that doesnt dry out too much in Summer, thinnner and lighter soils would benefit from a good amount of organic matter being well mixed in the hole at planting time and these glorious shrubs enjoy a good mulch being applied during Spring to get the best from them, this is especially the case for younger plants. Prune the plants back hard to a low framework in Early Spring for best flowering and remove any weak or crossing stems at the same time. We recommend adding Rootgrow when planting all Hydrangeas to give them the best start.

How to grow Hydrangea Skyfall

Position: Full sun, partial shade.

Foliage: Deciduous shrub, leaves drop from the plant in Autumn and fresh new ones emerge in Spring.

Soil and site: Any good soil that retains moisture in Summer, Hydrangeas dont like to be dry.

Flowering time: July to September

Growth rate: moderate/fast

Ultimate height and spread:  120cm high x 120cm wide.

Hardiness:  Fully hardy.

Aftercare: Water regularly after planting and for the first season. Prune hard and mulch in Spring.

Exceptions to our delivery charges are Scottish Highland and Isle of Wight delivery areas where we need to charge a little extra to cover the cost of deliveries to these outlying areas. We don’t currently delivery to other offshore addresses including Northern Ireland and Southern Ireland.

Tall plants over 2.5 metres have to be delivered by our own specialised transport, our delivery area is limited to mainland England and Wales only.

Please note there is a minimum order value of £50 for orders containing smaller plants and £250 for orders containing heavier plants
