This is one of our best-selling hedging plants but pleached Cherry Laurel trees give the opportunity for immediate screening at a higher level!
The Common or Cherry Laurel (Prunus laurocerasus ‘Rotundifolia) has large rounded evergreen foliage that is darker green on the top side and a paler green underneath. These large glossy leaves seem to catch the light in all seasons and the plant looks immaculate all year.
Pleached Cherry Laurel Trees are a great choice for bringing structure and height to your garden, use them for privacy, to provide shade or shelter or as a backdrop for other plants. Our pleached Cherry Laurel trees will grow in any reasonable garden soil that does not become waterlogged although if you have very chalky soil, we would advise you consider our Pleached Portugal Laurel trees instead.
Cherry Laurels are best trimmed in Autumn after growth has finished, or in Spring before growth starts, if trimming is done with secateurs then unsightly cut edges of the large leaves will be avoided.
Pleached Cherry Laurel Trees are available as pot grown specimens for delivery all year round, or as root ball stock which is available for delivery during the Winter season of dormancy from late October until April.

Because of the size of our pleached Cherry Laurel trees (they are too tall for any courier delivery service!) all our Pleached Trees are delivered by our own transport, direct to you straight from our nursery. We usually use our own Land Rover and trailer and will always call you to arrange a mutually convenient day first. Delivery is still free for these beautiful trees but as they require a more bespoke approach to delivery and we do need a minimum order of £1500 (ex VAT) to cover our costs.
