Photinia Red Robin is one of our most popular hedging plants and makes a great pleached specimen, featuring in our top ten best sellers for many years. Gardeners, Landscapers and designers appreciate its immaculate year-round foliage, robust nature and the masses of bright red new growth in Spring (that continue to appear intermittently through the season). Older plants will also carry attractive corymbs of ivory white flowers in late Spring.

Evergreen pleached trees are always very popular and Photinia is no exception, these plants give the opportunity for attractive high level screening to soften the impact of nearby buildings and structures, or to regain lost privacy.

Pleached Photinia trees are suitable for all reasonable soils, they will grow in any normal garden soil that is not prone to waterlogging. (in very wet conditions you may like to consider Hornbeam as an alternative, not quite so colourful but it does retain its leaves in Winter to give privacy)

Pleached Photinia Trees are available as pot grown specimens for delivery all year round, or as root ball stock which is available for delivery during the Winter season of dormancy from late October until April.
