A plucky little cousin to the larger leaved types of Euonymus japonicus. This evergreen shrub has glossy, elongated deep green leaves 2cm long. Each leaf has a conspicuous bright golden yellow edging making this a colourful addition to the garden that looks immaculate and tidy in all seasons.
Euonymus microphyllus Aureovariegatus looks good in mixed shrub borders and beds with its colourful leaf display enduring long after many other garden plants have had their season, they are compact lending them well to growing in containers to brighten a patio whether it is sunny or shady.
