The majestic Cortaderia Selloana grass are densely tufted, tall and clump-forming evergreen grasses. Wonderfully popular, and with good reason! These elegant giants have gracefully arching, sharply toothed, blue-green leaves, topped in late Summer and early Autumn with long erect stems carrying pyramidal to oblong shaped plumes of glistening silvery flower panicles.
Cortaderia Selloana (Pampas Grass) grasses are best planted in a sunny location in the garden. Perfect as a focal point in a central bed, or planted in swathes along a sunny border adding statuesque elegance to your planting schemes. Plant with other ornamental grasses, or with Dogwood to enjoy the coloured stems with your Cortaderia Selloana as a backdrop. Also wonderful as part of a dried flower arrangement.
