Potentilla Hedging

Potentilla (Potentilla Fruticosa) hedging plants are a fantastic way to bring a floral touch to your outdoor spaces, thanks to their compact stature and pretty little flowers. Although they are smaller overall than some other hedging varieties, Potentilla are a tough, versatile plant and makes a great addition to many gardens.

This hedging variety is popular due to its excellent flowering period, with blooms adorning the branches from spring right through to early autumn. As a typically low growing hedging plant, growing to a maximum of around 1.5 metres, Potentilla make a great border or edging plant. They are a rather low maintenance option, making them appealing to those who don’t want to have to fuss around too much in order to get an impressive hedging aesthetic.

Potentilla is a very hardy plant, meaning that it can tolerate a number of different soils – even poor soil. Due to their hardy nature they make a great choice for coastal regions, or areas that can experience some more unpleasant or extreme weather.

As with all of our plants, our Potentilla hedging is grown at our dedicated family-owned nursery in Kent, where we ensure that all plants leave us in the best possible condition ready for delivery across the country.
