This is a mid season heavy cropping variety of blackberry whose long black glossy fruits give a wonderful flavour to any dish. Although the canes are thorny this is not a problem when it comes to managing the plant which is also disease resistant.

Kotata (Mid Season). This variety produces heavy crops of long black glossy fruits with a superb flavour. The thorny canes are disease resistant and the berries can be harvested from late July-mid August. Plant 6-7ft apart.
