These well developed plants have been grown at a very wide spacing in our fields, they have been trimmed in the previous season to encourage bushiness and when planted at distances of up to 4ft apart will provide an instant screen. All plants even supersized need time to actually knit together to become a true solid unit or hedge but planting hedging at this size minimises the waiting time greatly.
