From the daisy family, Erigeron Pink Jewel (Fleabane) ground cover plants are great little plants that are very free flowering. With delicate lance-shaped, soft greeny grey leaves, it delivers charming clusters of daisy-like, semi-double to double bright rose-pink flowers with bright yellow centres on upright stems that will delight from early Summer to Autumn. Super easy to grow.
Hugely popular due to their long flowering period from May to October, they are amazingly versatile, performing best in full sun, they will also be quite happy in partial shade, and will thrive in any well-drained soil. Great at the front of beds and borders or as edging along paths, in a gravel garden, spilling over walls, or planted in the cracks in paving. Bushy, clump forming and very easy to grow, the daisy-like flowers of Erigeron Pink Jewel ground cover will quickly develop into a weed supressing mat filled with masses of flowers. Bees and butterflies love them, so they also make a wonderful addition to a wildlife garden.

Low maintenance, Erigeron Pink Jewel ground cover are pretty drought resistant but are happiest with a regular supply of water during dry summers. For best results plant them in full sun in fertile well-drained soil (they will tolerate semi-shade but may produce less flowers). They will die back down to ground level in winter when you can trim off any straggly dead foliage ready for the following Spring. They are also tolerant of coastal conditions.
