Coprosma Pacific Dawn is a semi evergreen shrub and so it is normal for some of the leaves to drop over the winter months, in very cold spells or exposed sites they may drop all the leaves, but new foliage should emerge in late Spring.

Coprosma shrubs grow well in conditions of full sun or partial shade, for best results plant in well drained soil or compost. A sheltered spot is advised as these plants can be damaged by hard frosts or strong winds, in exposed gardens some protection will be required. Pruning is not routinely necessary, but it can pay to give them a formative light trim each spring to maintain the shape and bushiness of the plant.
